Christopher (Chris) Pfau, CPA, CFP®, is the co-founder of Lakemont Financial Group, with more than 15 years of experience in accounting, tax, and advisory services. He graduated summa cum laude from Brigham Young University-Hawaii in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in accounting.

Chris helps small business owners and individuals navigate complex tax and financial decisions. He takes a proactive, comprehensive approach that goes beyond traditional tax preparation to identify opportunities, reduce taxes, and strengthen businesses.

Outside the office, Chris enjoys hiking, camping, and family board game nights with Ying and their two boys. He's also an avid reader who's always looking for his next good book. Chris speaks both English and Mandarin Chinese.

Ying Pfau, CPA, is the co-founder of Lakemont Financial Group, with more than 14 years of experience in tax and accounting. She graduated from George Washington University in 2012 with a Master of Accountancy.

Ying leads Lakemont's tax compliance, technical review, and accounting. She oversees the review of every return the firm files, and her attention to detail keeps clients' filings accurate. Behind the scenes, she keeps the firm running smoothly and every engagement on schedule.

Outside the office, Ying enjoys gardening, camping with Chris and their two boys, discovering new foods, and catching up with friends. Ying is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
